INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: picture books, posters/charts of both the male and female gender, children toys, male and female dolls and accessories, pupils as learning resource

INTRODUCTION

The teacher uses the theme song introduces the topic and explains that gender simply means being a male or a female

EXPLANATION

She describes what makes male or female gender using their familiar relations

Mother- female

Aunts- female

Uncle- male

Brother- male

Sisters- female

Pupils pay attention and participates

STEP 3

DEMONSTRATION

She lists some activities that promote fairness among gender

-      Group work

-      Playing with male and female dolls

 

She makes the pupils to demonstrate fairness by working together in taking care of the dolls in turn
