STEP 1 INTRODUCTION | The teacher introduces the topic with the if you’re happy and you know it song; She explains that a boat is a vehicle we use in moving people and goods from place to place on the water
She tells them that most boats come in brown colour | The pupils pay attention and participate |
STEP 2 EXPLANATION | The teacher explains the rhymes and shows them a picture of people on a boat using a paddle to row the boat
She also explains the wordings one after the other | Pupils listen |
STEP 3 RECITATION | The teacher recites the rhyme as many times as possible and asks the pupils to do same.
