Periods 1 and 2: Recitation of A-Z. Introduction, identification and colouring of letter R

Step (1) Introduction of the theme	The teacher using a model aeroplane explains the theme with a song	The Pupils pay attention
Step (2) Recitation	The teacher recites the alphabet rhyme with the pupils as many times as possible	Pupils recite.
3 Introduction of letter R	Using flash cards, the teacher introduces letter R and writes it on the board R R R
4 Colouring	The teacher draws Letter R on the board to aid them colour in their books.
Evaluation	(1) Colour letter R (2) Circle R

Conclusion	The teacher commends them, marks their books and applauds them.

Periods 3: Tracing and writing of letter R
