Introduction of the topic

The teacher introduces the topic with a story of an orphan

Explanation

She tells the pupils an orphan is a person without a father and a mother.

She then tells them how being an orphan could affect their lives like it causes fear, withdrawal and neglect

The teacher shows the pupils pictures of orphans.
