STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher introduces the topic with the animal song;

 

She explains that a puppy is the baby of a big dog

 

She mentions the popular names

of dogs like bingo, princess etc

 

The pupils pay attention and participate

STEP 2

EXPLANATION

The teacher explains the rhymes and shows them a picture of a farmer and a dog.

 

She also explains the wordings one after the other

Pupils listen

STEP 3

RECITATION

The teacher recites the rhyme as many times as possible and asks the pupils to do same.

 

There was a farmer who had a dog,
And Bingo was his name-O.
B-I-N-G-O!
B-I-N-G-O!
B-I-N-G-O!
And Bingo was his name-O!
