STEP 1

Introduction of the topic

The teacher introduces the topic with a story of a pupil going to a toilet and listing what makes it a toilet

Explanation

The teacher tells the pupils that a toilet is a device where we go to remove the waste in our bodies.

She then guides the pupil on how to identify a toilet and then teaches them how to locate a toilet. In a toilet you’d see a bowl, a device for flushing with water, a hinged seat and lid.

Using pictures/charts/posters the teacher shows them the various things found in in a toilet
