STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher uses the if you’re happy and you know it song and introduces the topic and explains that sinking objects are objects when placed in water, goes below it.

She further explains that because sinking objects are heavy, when released into the air it drops on the ground

She lists some examples of sinking objects as

DEMONSTRATION

The teacher demonstrates the sinking objects.

 

Using a bucket of water, she places all the objects in it and asks the children to tell her their observations

 

She also gives them the same objects to drop to the ground. She also asks them their observations
