SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to

  1. Identify balls
  2. Count the balls
  3. Colour them with ease

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: Activity book/Drawing book, Colours(coloured pencils, crayons, poster colours), pictures of different balls, real balls

STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher uses ball songs and introduces the topic and explains that ball is an object with kick with our legs and throw/catch with our hands

She explains that ball is what is played in a football game

She then throws the ball to the kids and asked them to throw to it to one another

Pupils pay attention

STEP 2

IDENTIFICATION

The teacher shows them the balls in their activity book and asks them to identify them

She then asks them to count the number of balls there are

 

Pupils participate

STEP 3

COLOURING

The teacher shares out their books for them to colour the balls with different colours

 

 

EVALUATION:    1. Identify balls

  1. How many balls are in the activity book?
  2. Colour the balls

CLASSWORK: As in evaluation

CONCLUSION: The teacher commends the pupils positively
