SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: AT the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to
INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNIQUES: Explanation, demonstration, identification, examples, questions and answers
INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: Collection of poems and rhymes book, pictures of fishes
The teacher introduces the topic with the animal song;
She explains that a fish is an animal that lives in the water
She tells them the different types of fish there are: shark, whales etc
The pupils pay attention and participate
The teacher explains the rhymes and shows them a drawn fish.
She also explains the wordings one after the other
The teacher recites the rhyme as many times as possible and asks the pupils to do same.
One, two, three, four, five.
Why did you let it go?
EVALUATION: 1. One, two, three, four, five, once I caught a _______ alive
CLASS-WORK: 1. As in evaluation
CONCLUSION: The teacher corrects and applauds the pupils
