INTRODUCTION

The teacher uses the when you see a traffic light song and introduces the topic and explains that zebra crossing is an area of road painted with broad stripes

EXPLANATION

She explains that the colour on the zebra crossing is white where vehicles must stop if pedestrians wish to cross

DEMONSTRATION

With a video on zebra crossing she explains;

 

The zigzag lines warn drivers that there may be pedestrians crossing or waiting to cross the road

 

They also tell drivers that they must give way to pedestrians on the crossing.
