STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher uses the if you’re happy and you know it song and introduces the topic and explains that floating objects are objects when placed on water, stays above it.

EXPLANATION

She further explains that floating object because they are light when released into the air are carried up into the sky

She lists some examples of floating objects as

plastic spoon

cork

kites

soap bubbles

DEMONSTRATION

The teacher demonstrates the floating objects.

 

Using a bucket of water, she places all the objects on it and asks the children to tell her their observations

 

She also gives them kites and soap bubbles to fly in the sky
