STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher introduces the topic with a fruit song; and tells them that the pawpaw is a delicious fruit with a green back and a yellow inside.

 

She asks if they’ve ever tasted it and asks them to describe how it tasted

The pupils pay attention and participate

STEP 2

EXPLANATION

The teacher explains the rhymes and shows them a real pawpaw.

 

She also explains the wordings one after the other

Pupils listen

STEP 3

RECITATION

The teacher recites the rhyme as many times as possible and asks the pupils to do same.

 

Pawpaw is a kind of fruit

Sweet like sugar

Yellow like fanta

Everybody likes pawpaw, PAWPAW!!!
