STEP 1 INTRODUCTION | The teacher introduces the topic with a fruit song; and tells them that the pawpaw is a delicious fruit with a green back and a yellow inside.
She asks if they’ve ever tasted it and asks them to describe how it tasted | The pupils pay attention and participate |
STEP 2 EXPLANATION | The teacher explains the rhymes and shows them a real pawpaw.
She also explains the wordings one after the other | Pupils listen |
STEP 3 RECITATION | The teacher recites the rhyme as many times as possible and asks the pupils to do same.
