  1. Identify cakes as delicious snacks
  2. Count the cakes
  3. Colour them with ease

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: Activity book/Drawing book, Colours(coloured pencils, crayons, poster colours), pictures of different cakes

STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher uses cakes song and introduces the topic and explains that cake is a delicious snack we use in celebrations like weddings, birthdays and other parties

Pupils pay attention

STEP 2

IDENTIFICATION

The teacher shows them the different cakes in their activity book and asks them to identify them

She then asks them to count the number of cakes there are

 

Pupils participate

STEP 3

COLOURING

The teacher shares out their books for them to colour the cakes with different colours

 

 

EVALUATION:    1. Identify cakes

  1. How many cakes are in the activity book?
  2. Colour the cakes

CLASSWORK: As in evaluation

CONCLUSION: The teacher commends the pupils positively
