SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to

  1. Identify toys as what they play with
  2. Count the toys
  3. Colour them with ease

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: Activity book/Drawing book, Colours(coloured pencils, crayons, poster colours), pictures of different kinds of toys, real toys

STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher uses toy song and introduces the topic and explains that toys as those objects Mummy and Daddy buy for them to play with and keep them busy

Pupils pay attention

STEP 2

IDENTIFICATION

The teacher shows them the different toys in their activity book and asks them to identify them

She then asks them to count the number of toys there are

 

Pupils participate

STEP 3

COLOURING

The teacher shares out their books for them to colour the toys with different colours

 

 

EVALUATION:    1. Identify toys

  1. How many toys are in the activity book?
  2. Colour the toys

CLASSWORK: As in evaluation

CONCLUSION: The teacher commends the pupils positively
