STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher introduces the topic with the animal song…….and tells them that a monkey is an animal that lives in trees

She also tells them that the monkey enjoys eating bananas especially

The pupils pay attention and participate

STEP 2

EXPLANATION

The teacher explains the rhymes and shows them a drawn monkey.

She also explains the wordings one after the other

Pupils listen

STEP 3

RECITATION

The teacher recites the rhyme as many times as possible and asks the pupils to do same.

Five little monkeys jumping on the bed
One fell off and bumped his head
Mama called the doctor and the doctor said
"No more monkeys jumping on the bed!"

Four little monkeys jumping on the bed
One fell off and bumped his head
Mama called the doctor and the doctor said
