Content: Introduction, Identification of letter B, colouring, tracing and writing of B.

Specific Objectives: At the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to:

  1. Recite alphabet Rhyme A –Z
  2. Identify letter B
  3. Colour B
  4. Trace and write B

Instructional Techniques: Explanation , repetition, question and answers.

Introduction of the theme

The teacher using an inflated balloon with different colours. She explains to them that balloon is a small bag made of tiny rubber that becomes larger when inflated with air. 

The Pupils pay attention.

Recitation

The teacher recites the alphabets rhyme with the pupils as many times as possible

Introduction of letter B

Using flash cards the teacher introduces letter B and she writes it on the board

The teacher draws letter B on the board, colours it to aid them colour in their books
