STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher introduces the topic with a song; My head, my shoulder……. and tells them that a butterfly is an insect and are attracted to bright flowers

The pupils pay attention and participate

STEP 2

EXPLANATION

The teacher explains the rhymes and shows them a drawn butterfly.

She also explains the wordings one after the other

Pupils listen

STEP 3

RECITATION

The teacher recites the rhyme as many times as possible and asks the pupils to do same.

 

Butterfly, Butterfly, flutter around.


Butterfly, Butterfly, touch the ground.


Butterfly, Butterfly, fly so free.


Butterfly, land on me!


Butterfly, Butterfly, reach the sky,


Butterfly, Butterfly, say good-bye!
