Periods 1 and 2: Recitation of alphabet rhyme A-Z

Introduction and identification of letter A

Introduction of  theme

The teacher introduces the theme with a song

Pupil’s pays attention

Recitation of A-Z

The teacher recites alphabet rhyme with the pupils

Step 3

Identification

Using flash cards the teacher identifies letter A-she writes on the board for them to see and identify

 

Step 4

Colouring

The teacher draws letter A on the board and colours for them to be able to colour

 

Evaluation: Circle A           

                                              

Class work: A is in evaluation

Conclusion: The teacher corrects them and marks their books.

 

Period 3: Tracing and writing of letter A
