STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher introduces the topic with a song; the wise man built his house upon the rock………….. and tells them that a sheep is an animal that lives in the house

The pupils pay attention and participate

STEP 2

EXPLANATION

The teacher explains the rhymes and shows them a drawn black sheep.

She also explains the wordings one after the other

Pupils listen

STEP 3

RECITATION

The teacher recites the rhyme as many times as possible and asks the pupils to do same.

 

Baa baa black sheep

Have you any wool?

Yes sir, yes sir, 3 bags full

One for the master and one for the dame

And one for the little boy who lives down the lane

Baa baa black sheep
