NOTE

Interventions for the shortcomings in the public service

1. Necessary machinery should be put in place for training and retraining of

public servants

2. Good salary and great incentives for public workers should be introduced
3. public officers who violates the law should be sanctioned by the

appropriate office

4. Appointment into offices should be based on merit
5. The members of the public should learn to respect the public service

holders especially when they are in their line of duty

6. Public service holders should not hold political offices so as to maintain

neutrality
