PUBLIC SERVICE

Public service is a service rendered by the government to the people living

within its jurisdiction.

They are responsible for the executions and implementation of government

programmes and policies targeted towards a sector of the society

 

Some examples of public service in Nigeria include;

  1. Power Holding Company of Nigeria(PHCN)
  2. Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board(JAMB)
  3. Niger Delta Development Commission(NDDC)
  4. Nigeria Deposit Insurance Company(NDIC)
  5. Nigerian Export Promotion Council
