  5. Manipulation of election results by leaders
  6. Poor financial behaviour of the electorates

 

HOW TO CONTROL LEADERS THAT FAIL TO PROTECT THE INTEREST OF THEIR FOLLOWERS

  1. Voting should be done based on personal convictions not monetary

favours and gains

  1. The cost of nomination should be reduced and made affordable
  2. Public offices should be made less attractive by reducing the

remuneration and fringe benefits

  1. Non-performing representatives should be recalled
  2. There should be high level of probity, accountability and transparency in

the entire electoral process
