POLITICAL APATHY

Political apathy is the disinterest and total refusal of citizens of a country to

participate in political activities

 

FORMS OF POLITICAL APATHY

  1. refusal to register to vote in an election
  2. refusal to update their existing data on the voters register
  3. refusal to vote during an election
  4. unwillingness to fight against electoral malpractices
  5. Lack of interest, trust and confidence in political leaders and public office

holders
