PRESENTATION

STEP 1: INTRODUCTION
• The teacher will introduce the concept of machines and why they are used to perform work.
• Students will discuss the role of machines in their daily lives.

STEP 2: EXPLANATION
• The teacher explains the different types of work machines perform: making work easier, faster, and more convenient.
• The teacher explains the need for machines in various sectors such as home, office, industry, and agriculture.

STEP 3: DEMONSTRATION
• The teacher demonstrates simple machines (lever, pulley, wheel and axle) to show how they make work easier.
• Discuss the importance of regular maintenance and repair of machines to ensure their functionality.

STEP 4: GROUP DISCUSSION
• Students will be divided into groups and tasked with brainstorming and discussing the use of machines in different sectors.
• Each group will present their findings to the class.

STEP 5: NOTE TAKING
• The teacher will write a summary on the board covering the different uses of machines, maintenance, and repairs.
