PERIOD 1:

  • Introduction: Teacher introduces the topic by discussing the concept of expository essays, focusing on writing to inform, explain, or describe.
  • Content Delivery: Teacher discusses current issues, such as climate change, education, or unemployment, and how to structure an essay on these issues.
  • Class Activity: Students brainstorm in groups about various current issues.
