BUSINESS LAW

Business law, also called commercial law or mercantile law, the body of rules, whether by convention, agreement, or national or international legislation, governing the dealings between persons in commercial matters

 

BRANCHES OF BUSINESS LAW

  1. Property law: this deals with the use and ownership of property
  2. Contract and commercial law: This deals solely with issues that involve contract among people
  3. Law of Tort: This deals with injuries caused to a person by an individual or a company
  4. Inheritance or succession law: this deals with the rights of inheritance of property
  5. Family law: This governs the legal aspects of family such as marriage, divorce, adoption etc
  6. Corporate law: This law deals with businesses and shareholders
