A. The Decree to Worship the King (Daniel 6:1–9)

  • King Darius signed a law forbidding prayer to any god or man except him for 30 days.

B. Daniel’s Faith in God (Daniel 6:10–15)

  • Daniel continued to pray three times a day despite the decree, showing unwavering faith.

C. Daniel in the Lion’s Den (Daniel 6:11–18)

  • Daniel was thrown into the den for disobeying the king’s decree.

D. Power of God Manifested (Daniel 6:19–24)

  • God sent an angel to shut the lions’ mouths, and Daniel was unharmed.

E. Effects of Daniel’s Faith (Daniel 6:25–28)

  • King Darius declared the God of Daniel as the living God.

F. Qualities of Daniel

  • Wise, excellent spirit (Daniel 6:3)
  • Resolved not to defile himself (Daniel 1:8)
  • Faithful and trustworthy (Daniel 6:4–5)
