NOTE

BOARDS

A board of directors is an elected group of individuals that represent the

shareholders of a company or an organization.

A marketing board is an organization created by many producers/

manufacturers to try to market their products thereby increasing

its consumption

 

ROLES OF FACILITATORS IN BOARDS

  1. They ensure that everyone has a chance to express their opinions, ideas

and feelings

  1. they accept every member as valuable in his or her own right
  2. they believe in other people’s ability to discover their own solutions to

problems

  1. they recognize individual strengths and efforts to change
  2. They provide feedbacks that focus on the individual not the behaviour
  3. they keep the discussion moving in a direction that produces a product

without rushing the group.
