LIFE SAVING

Life saving refers to the act of rescuing or saving someone's life from imminent danger, particularly in cases of accidents, emergencies, or life-threatening situations. It involves knowledge, skills, and techniques that are designed to prevent death or injury and provide immediate assistance to individuals in distress.

Life-saving measures

  1. First aid: Providing immediate care and treatment for injuries or sudden illnesses, including administering CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), controlling bleeding, and treating burns or fractures.
  2. Water rescue: Retrieving and rescuing individuals who are drowning, struggling, or in distress in aquatic environments, such as swimming pools, rivers, lakes, or oceans.
  3. Fire safety: Responding to fire emergencies and evacuating individuals from dangerous areas, as well as preventing and suppressing fires to minimize damage and loss of life.
  4. Disaster response: Providing assistance, support, and relief to individuals affected by natural disasters or large-scale emergencies, such as earthquakes, hurricanes, or floods.
