PRACTICAL ON FLOURS FROM LOCAL FOOD STUFF

HOW TO PREPARE CORN MEAL

INGREDIENTS

3 cups of corn meal

Water

 

PROCEDURES

  1. Put water in a pot and allow it to boil
  2. Divide the corn meal into two, pour one part into a bowl, add water and mix until it is smooth. Avoid lumps and make sure it is not too watery
  3. Pour it into the boiling water and se your turning stick to mix. Allow it to cook for some minutes
  4. Pour the second part of the corn meal gradually into the paste and str. Keep turning with a turning stick until it is thick. It should not be too thick. Cover the pot and allow it to steam for 3 minutes
  5. Mould it inside nylon. The corn meal is ready. You can serve it with any soup of your choice
