NOTE
AUXILLARY VIEWS
An auxiliary view is a type of orthographic projection where the lines of sight are not parallel to the principal projection planes. In a regular orthographic view, there is a line representing the edge of the inclined surface. The auxiliary view is created by projecting, at right angles, from this edge line and drawing parallel to it.
Objects often have sloping or inclined surfaces that are not perpendicular to the plane of projection. In typical orthographic views, these surfaces are represented as distorted and do not accurately show their true shape. When a sloping surface contains an important feature that needs to be depicted without distortion, an auxiliary view is employed. The number of possible auxiliary views for any given object is indefinite.
