SYMPTOMS OF DRUGS ABUSE

  1. Nonchalant attitude towards the law, parents and friends
  2. isolation from friends and family members
  3. sneaking out to questionable and unusual places
  4. constant napping
  5. Unusual eating
  6. Foul smells and odours
  7. sluggishness
  8. Frequent vomiting and urination
  9. Incoherent talks
  10. change in attitude
  11. dirty teeth, red eyes and highly pigmented lips
  12. poor academic performance etc

 

EFFECTS OF DRUG ABUSE

  1. accidents which can lead to destruction of lives and properties
  2. temporary or permanent memory loss
  3. depletion of human resources especially among the working population

leading to economic stagnation

  1. it leads to self-esteem and body odour
  2. it may give rise to crimes and criminal activities
  3. it can lead to health problems such as organ failures, heart attack etc
  4. It brings a dent to national image
