DRUGS ABUSE

Drug abuse is the illegal usage of drugs without the doctor’s prescription

 

EXAMPLES OF DURGS THAT CAN BE ABUSED

1. Anabolic steroids- these are performance enhancing drugs
2. Alcohol- wines, gins, spirits etc
3. stimulants
4. Hallucinogens- cocaine, marijuana, Indian hemp etc

 

CAUSES OF DRUG ABUSE

1. peer pressure
2. readily available
3. for selfish reasons such as boosting performance and confidence in the

accomplishments of some difficult tasks

4. to overcome sorrow, depression anxiety and pains
