A Trade Association is a 'not-for-profit organisation' made up of a

collection of companies and/or individuals with common interests or

who work in the same industry.

 

AIMS AND FUNCTIONS OF TRADE ASSOCIATIONS

1. To secure a high price for their products/services.
2. To promote the image of their trade.
3. To maintain a high standard of their professions
4. To Unite people of the same trade to have one motive when dealing with

the government.

5. To defend and advance the interest of members
