NOTE

HUMAN RIGHTS

Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, regardless of

race, sex, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, or any other

status.

Here is the list of the human rights according to the 1999 constitution

  1. right to life
  2. Right to acquire and own properties
  3. Right to private and family life
  4. Right to fair hearing
  5. Right to dignity of human person
  6. Freedom of movement and expression
  7. Freedom of the Press
  8. Freedom of association

 

CHARACTERISTICS OF HUMAN RIGHTS

  1. No government has the right to deprive citizens of their rights except in

emergencies and periods of war

  1. Human right is to be enjoyed by a person while they are alive
  2. The concept of human right is same all over the world irrespective of

race, religion, language, associations etc

  1. The concept of human rights varies all over the world based on their

understanding and how they intend to uphold it

  1. All human rights are indivisible, interrelated and interdependent
