AUTOMOBILE ENGINE
Engine cylinders
Engine cylinders are the chambers in which the combustion of fuel and air occurs within an internal combustion engine. Each cylinder typically contains a piston that moves up and down within it, driven by the force generated from the combustion process. The number of cylinders in an engine varies depending on the engine's design and intended application. Engines can have a single cylinder, as seen in some small motorcycles or generators, or multiple cylinders arranged in a specific configuration, such as inline, V-shaped, or horizontally opposed, as found in cars, trucks, aircraft, and other machinery.
