BURGLARY INSURANCE
Burglary insurance is a type of insurance that covers losses or damages
caused by burglary. Burglary insurance is a policy designed by insurance
companies to protect the insured against loss arising from breaking and
entering with the intent of stealing from warehouse, dwelling houses,
offices, shops, banks, business premises generally by thieves. This is an
insurance cover that offers coverage for any loss or damage caused to the
insured property due to a burglary attempt or house breaking. This is a
policy that provides financial compensation against loss or damage to
property contained in the insured premises by acts of burglary (theft
accompanied by actual forcible entry or exit by violent means).
Scope of burglary insurance
The policy cover under burglary is determined by what was specifically
mentioned when buying the cover and what was excluded on policy
exclusion as agreed between insurer and the insured. The policy is
normally arranged under two forms which are:
This occurs when an offender enters, a building which people live in, it also
