Teacher’s Activity

Student’s Activity

Step 1 - Introduction

Explains the concept of polynomials and introduces the Remainder Theorem. Discusses how when a polynomial is divided by a linear divisor, the remainder is the value of the polynomial at the divisor’s root. Example: If dividing P(x)P(x) by (x−a)(x - a), then remainder = P(a)P(a).

Students listen attentively and ask clarifying questions.
