NOTE

NATIONAL CONSCIOUSNESS, INTEGRITY AND UNITY

A national consciousness is a shared sense of national identity and a

shared understanding that a people group shares a common

ethnic/linguistic/cultural background.

Though people in a country are divided in the name of caste, religion,

language and culture, a bond that unites the citizens in the name of the

country and brings oneness is known as national integrity.

National unity is when people in a country are living and working together in

harmony and love.

 

FACTORS THAT PROMOTE NATIONAL CONSCIOUSNESS, INTEGRITY AND UNITY

  1. Inter-tribal marriages
  2. Religious and ethnic tolerance
  3. Non-discrimination and equal acceptance of all irrespective of their

ethnicity, religious beliefs, social strata etc
