PERIOD 1: Introduction to Speeches

  • The teacher discusses the features of a speech, such as a clear introduction, well-organized body, and impactful conclusion.

Discussion:

  • The teacher explains the various purposes of speeches:
    • Informative speeches

    • Ceremonial speeches
  • Learners are given examples of speeches for each purpose.

Activity:
