TRADITIONS AND BELIEFS

Traditions are the age-long set of values cherished by a particular people

that affects their way of life. These values are transmitted from one

generation to another

Beliefs are things that are considered to be true or held as an opinion

 

WAYS OF PROMOTING TRADITIONS AND BELIEFS

  1. Through the family
  2. Via the media, print and electronic media
  3. When it is incorporated in the school curriculum
  4. When it is acted as a drama
  5. Dedicating some days to cultural and traditional festivals
  6. Through cultural celebrations and workshops e.g FESTAC ‘77
