The Nigeria Airports Authority(NAA)

The Nigeria Airports Authority(NAA) is an organization instituted by the government to oversee, manage, control and manage the Nigerian airports.

Some common airports in Nigeria include Akanu Ibiam International Airport Enugu, Murtala Mohammed Airport in Lagos, etc

 

FUNCTIONS OF THE NIGERIA AIRPORTS AUTHORITY(NAA)

  1. They regulate both the local and international airlines
  2. They provide warehouse for the storage of goods before they are loaded or offloaded from aircrafts
  3. They collect airport taxes
  4. They provide maintenance and refueling of aircrafts
  5. They provide accommodation for customs, immigration and security officials at the airport
  6. They ensure passenger and luggage security and safety
