NOTE

HOUSEHOLD LAUNDRY II

Laundry processes

Laundry processes involve several key steps to ensure that clothes and other fabrics are cleaned effectively.

  1. Sorting: Separate your clothes into different piles based on their color, fabric type, and level of dirtiness. This helps prevent colors from bleeding onto each other and ensures that delicate items are treated gently.
  2. Pre-treating stains: Check your clothes for any stains and apply a stain remover or detergent directly to the affected areas. Gently rub the fabric together to help lift the stain before washing.
  3. Loading the washing machine: Place your sorted clothes into the washing machine, making sure not to overload it. Add laundry detergent according to the instructions on the package.
  4. Choosing the cycle: Select the appropriate wash cycle based on the fabric type and level of soiling. For delicate items, use a gentle cycle with cold water, while heavily soiled items may require a longer, more intensive wash cycle with warm water.
  5. Drying: After the wash cycle is complete, transfer your clothes to the dryer or hang them on a drying rack. Select the appropriate drying settings based on the fabric type and preference. For delicate items, consider air drying to prevent damage.
  6. Folding and storing: Once your clothes are dry, fold them neatly and store them in your closet or drawers. Hang items that are prone to wrinkling to maintain their shape and appearance.
  7. Ironing (optional): If necessary, use an iron to remove any wrinkles from your clothes before wearing them. Make sure to adjust the iron temperature based on the fabric type to avoid damage.
  8. Putting away: Return your clothes to their designated storage spaces, keeping them organized and easily accessible for future use.
