INSTRUCTIONAL PROCEDURES

Introduction: The teacher introduces synonyms by explaining that they are words with nearly the same meaning. The teacher gives examples: "quick/fast," "strong/powerful," "busy/engaged."

 

Instruction: The teacher writes pairs of synonyms on the board and explains their meanings in context:

  • Quick/Fast: Something that happens in a short time.
  • Strong/Powerful: Having great strength.
  • Busy/Engaged: Being occupied or unavailable.
