PHYSICAL COMPONENTS OF MOTOR VEHICLE

A motor vehicle is a self-propelled machine used for transportation, typically on roads. It is an automotive vehicle such as; car, bus, motorcycle, truck etc.

Physical parts of a motor vehicle include:

  1. Body: The main structure of the vehicle.
  2. Wheels: For movement and support.
  3. Headlights: Front lights for illumination.
  4. Taillights: Rear lights for signaling.
  5. Bumpers: Front and rear for impact protection.
  6. Mirrors: Side and rearview for visibility.
  7. Grille: Front opening for air intake.
  8. Doors: Entry and exit points for passengers.
  9. Windshield: Front glass for visibility.
  10. Roof: Top covering of the vehicle.

Functions of parts of a motor vehicle

The following are the functions of the external parts of a motor vehicle:
