STEP 1:

STEP 2:
The teacher provides a sample passage and explains how to identify key sentences. The key sentences should convey the main idea and be concise.

Sample Passage:
"The earth is facing serious environmental challenges due to deforestation, pollution, and climate change. Many animals are losing their habitats as forests are destroyed, and the air quality is worsening due to pollution. Governments around the world are trying to tackle these issues by promoting environmental awareness and enacting laws to protect the environment."

STEP 3:
