NOTE

POLICY DOCUMENT

ENDORSEMENT SLIP: Endorsement slip is issued noting the alterations

and any additional or return premium involved. Endorsement slips also

shows the future premium or new renewal premium. It is issued by the

Insurance Company or broker to the insured.

 

REASONS FOR ENDORSEMENT OF POLICY DOCUMENT

  1. Changes in sum assured.
  2. Correction of error discovered in the policy.
  3. Substitutions of one item for another.
  4. Transfer of policy to another person.
  5. Replacement of beneficiaries.
