SEWING PROCESSES

Stitches is the process of passing threaded needle and thread in and out of a fabric to make a special design.

TYPES OF STITCHES
1. Temporary stitches: These hold fabrics for a short time e.g even and uneven tacking

  1. Permanent stitches: These holds fabrics permanently e.g running stitches and back stitches
  2. Decorative stitches: They are used in decorating garments e.g loop stitch and chain stitch
