NOTE

SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF HIV/AIDS

  1. Skin irritation
  2. constant coughs
  3. constant weakness and tiredness
  4. drastic weight loss
  5. Fever and diarrhea lasting longer than necessary
  6. hair loss
  7. Sore throat and rashes

 

Many of the above signs are also applicable to some other diseases. The best way to diagnose someone with HIV/AIDS is through a thorough blood test.

 

PREVENTIVE MEASURES AGAINST HIV/AIDS

  1. Abstinence is still the best prevention against HIV/AIDS.
  2. Avoid prostitution or commercial sex work.
  3. Do not have multiple sex partners. Stick to your spouse.
  4. Walk wisely and do not be a victim of rape. Dress decently.
  5. Have your own hair accessories, for example, combs, hair patting stick, clippers etc.
  6. Treat all private part infection promptly.
  7. Use condom if there are multiple sex partners.

 

Currently, HIV/AIDS have no cure but if properly managed, victims can live

an extended life. Anyone who has been diagnosed should go to the nearest

HIV/AIDS consultation office closest to them for advice, counseling and

treatment
