She Define Crime as an illegal activity or action which an individual commits in any society. It is a breach of a rule of law by which punishment may be dished out by the governing authorities.

Common Crimes include:

1. Advanced Fee Fraud(419)-

This is a fraud in which businesses or individuals are required to pay a fee before receiving promised stocks, services, money, or products, which untimely are never given.

An offender is punished by imprisonment for a term of not less than 3 years without an option of fine and in the case of a continuing offence, a fine of 50000 naira is given.
